UseKUSA Job Notifications

Text messages about your jobs.

UseKUSA sends text messages to cleaning pros and contractors about the specific jobs they've been assigned — schedules, changes, and new work. That's all. We never send marketing or promotional texts.

Who gets these messages

Only cleaning pros and contractors who work through UseKUSA, and only about jobs at properties they've been assigned to. Property owners, guests, and members of the public are never texted.

How you opt in

There are two ways, and both are recorded with the date you agreed:

  • You opt in yourself. Tick the SMS notifications box on your own profile in your UseKUSA portal.
  • You give your number to your property manager. During onboarding you provide your phone number directly to them, in person or by phone, and agree to receive job texts at it. They then enter it in their UseKUSA portal and confirm that you agreed — which records the date of your consent. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time.

If we have no record of your consent, we do not text you — even if your phone number is saved on your account.

What the messages look like

Every message starts with UseKUSA: and ends with how to stop. For example:

  • UseKUSA: You're scheduled to clean 123 Main St on checkout 2026-08-04 (11:00-15:00). Reply STOP to opt out.
  • UseKUSA: You've been assigned an issue at 123 Main St: Dryer repair (severity: high, due 2026-08-06). Reply STOP to opt out.
  • UseKUSA: Newark Duplex: 2 new cleanings scheduled. Next checkout 2026-08-04, 11:00-15:00. Reply STOP to opt out.

How often

Only when something actually happens on one of your jobs — typically a few messages a week, depending on how much work you take. There is no recurring campaign or newsletter.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message and we'll stop texting that number. You can also untick SMS notifications in your portal profile, or ask your property manager to remove your number. Reply HELP for help, or email info@usekusa.com.

Stopping texts doesn't affect your account — you'll still see your jobs in the portal and receive email notifications.

Costs and carriers

UseKUSA doesn't charge you for text messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Delivery isn't guaranteed and depends on your carrier.

We don't sell your phone number or share it for advertising. It's used to notify you about your jobs, and to let the property manager you're working with reach you about them.
